After killing Lithfengel in Reknor, head back to Last Hope and give the items to Tannen, on the west side of town.
Leave town and head west a bit to the new tower that appeared.
Ruins of Telmur
Head down the tower (shouldn't you be going up?), these rooms are small and full of enemies so be ready to flee back up the stairs if needed.
The boss is on level (5)
Boss: The Shade of Telos
42% resist all, he's hard to hurt. And if you're unluck he comes with friends. Sometimes rares. Take your time and fight near the stairs if possible.
This is where you might start running into an enemy named 'worm that walks'. This is one of the baddest asses in the game. Keep your distance.
Go back to Last Hope and ask Tannen how his research is going?

Tannen's Tower (1)
Straight forward, you need to toggle all the switches to get the middle doors to open.
Tannen's Tower (2)
Go around in a circle and try not to drown. only really a problem if you run into a rare. Remember to stop on the air spaces to catch your breath.
Tannen's Tower (3)
Go in a circle and try not to get killed by traps and undead. Get to the center when you see the door.
Tannen's Tower (1) ? again?
Boss: Tannen
Boss: Drolem
This is the big boss fight. And it's not an easy one. You will immediately be next to his pet with Tannen nowhere in sight. Don't panic. You need to kill Tannen first because Drolem has 8000 HP and Tannen's spells will destroy you. Step around Drolem so you can actually see and target Tannen. Shield up, speed up and try to take him out... Use Thread Walk to shoot an arrow and teleport next to him and get away from Drolem at the same time. Once you kill Tannen you still have to deal with Drolem. Do 8000+ damage to him any way you can.
Then take the portal back to Lost Hope. Now you have a portal back to the West again! Take this time to spend 4000 gold at the Merchant for a random bow or something. You even get to give your item a cool name. Good luck!
